With side of greens and mac n cheese was awesome. I have loved this place for years. Johnny cakes are great. STRAWBERRY Lemonade amazing. I am curious if under new management. I didnt see any of the normal staff i have seen here for years. I love this place and as long as it doesnt change i will continue to go back. Thank you!!

Placed an online order, food was ready on time, service was friendly and everything I ordered was AMAZING!! Definitely will be going back! If you haven't been here, highly encourage you too go give them a try. You won't be disappointed!!

My husband had catfish filet sweet potatoes and okra I had Cajun catfish strips French fries and red beans and rice / strawberry lemonade. All were excellent would highly recommend!! Some of the best southern cooking in Washington.

The eggs that came with our biscuits and gravy had the darkest yellow yolks I've seen in a restaurant. They are great! But the biscuits and gravy were the star. Big buttermilk biscuits that tasted like buttermilk every bite and great cream gravy, southern style with sausage. They don't serve bright orange gravy(?) like that other place down the street. Lastly the hash browns were evenly brown and delicious. (Yell at me if you wish but I grew up in Texas and I know good biscuits and gravy!)
